- Trim the cotton wick to 1/4 inch before each lighting to keep the flame steady and avoid black smoke.
- Let the candle burn until the top layer of wax melts completely to the edges during the first use to prevent tunneling.
- Place the jar on a flat, heat-safe surface away from open windows, fans, or strong air currents.
- Do not burn the candle for more than 3 to 4 hours at a time to keep the glass from overheating.
- Never leave a burning candle unattended. Always extinguish it before leaving the room.
- Keep the open flame away from children, pets, and anything that can catch fire.
- Stop using the candle when only 1 cm or less of wax remains at the bottom of the jar.
- Do not touch or move the glass jar while the candle is lit or the wax is still hot and liquid.
